What breeds do you specialize in?

At Little Golden Farm, we raise Bernedoodles and Aussiedoodles. They’re super friendly, crazy smart, and honestly just the best family dogs. We put a lot of love into our puppies, and these two breeds fit perfectly with the kind of temperament and personality we want our families to bring home.

What is the best way to get in touch?

The easiest way to get started is by filling out our Litter Inquiry Form. It helps me get to know you, your lifestyle, and what you’re looking for, so I can point you toward the perfect puppy match. Once you send it in, I’ll reach out as soon as I can to answer your questions and go over next steps.

Litter inquiries form

Where are you located?

We’re located in Fort Myers, Florida! Families are always welcome to come visit our home and meet the puppies I love when people get to see them in person and get a feel for their little personalities. You’re more than welcome to pick up your puppy here when it’s time to go home. If you’re in Florida but a bit farther away, I don’t mind driving and meeting halfway to make the trip easier for you and the pup. I always try my best to make the transition as smooth as possible.

For families who live out of state or can’t make the trip, I can personally hand-deliver your puppy, or you’re welcome to fly into the closest airport and I can meet you right there. Whatever makes things easiest we really try to accommodate everyone and make the experience stress-free for both you and your puppy.

How can I get my puppy home if I live out of state?

We know not every family lives close by, so we offer several safe, flexible options to make sure your puppy gets home comfortably and stress-free. Here’s how you can bring your new baby home:

Hand Delivery (Flight Nanny  Me!)

I can personally hand-deliver your puppy to an airport near you. Your puppy will travel in the cabin, never in cargo.

Delivery typically ranges from $500–$800, depending on your location. This includes:

  • My flight ticket
  • The airline’s puppy travel fee
  • Carry-on puppy bag

No extra cost, just the exact travel cost to get your puppy home safely.

Pick Up at the Airport (You Fly In)

If you’re flying in, you’re welcome to take your puppy home as a carry-on.
You’ll just need:

  • A soft-sided travel crate
  • A ticket through your airline of choice

Please check with me before booking so we can line up the timing for pickup

 Pick Up in Fort Myers

You’re always welcome to come directly to our home in Fort Myers, Florida and pick up your puppy in person! I love meeting families and seeing those first “meet my puppy” moments.

Personal Ground Delivery (Local-ish)

If you’re within a reasonable driving distance, I’m happy to personally deliver your puppy to you.
Most of the time, there’s no extra charge for local-ish delivery  I truly don’t mind the drive if it makes things easier and less stressful for your pup.

For longer drives, delivery may still be possible depending on my schedule. In those cases, I may ask for a small fee to help cover travel expenses (like gas or an overnight stay), but we always discuss and confirm everything beforehand.

Important Note:

We do not ship puppies in cargo. Ever.
Their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being come first, and these are the only travel options we trust for our babies.

How do I reserve a puppy? What is the best way to start the process?

Getting started is super simple! The first step is to fill out our Litter Inquiry Form. This helps me get to know you, your family, and what kind of puppy you’re hoping to bring home. Once I receive your form, I’ll reach out as soon as I can to answer questions, talk about upcoming litters, and guide you through the whole process.

How the reservation process works:

We use a reservation list so families can choose their puppy in the order deposits are received. Here’s how it works:

 Step 1: Join the Waitlist
When we open our waitlist, we ask for a $150 deposit to reserve your spot.
Once mama is confirmed pregnant, we request another $150 deposit.
Both of these deposits are completely refundable  they simply secure your spot on the list.

Step 2: Puppy Picks Start Around 4 Weeks Old
At 4 weeks, families on the list get to start choosing their puppy.
You’re welcome to come to my home to meet them in person.

If you’re not local, no worries ,we schedule a call and I send photos/videos twice a week, along with temperament notes for each puppy so you can make the best choice.

 Step 3: Picking Your Puppy
We choose puppies in order of the reservation list (first come, first served).
If your pick comes up and none of the puppies feel like the perfect fit for your family, you can roll your reservation over to the next litter or we will refund you to deposit.

Pricing

Our puppies are $3,300.

Deposits go toward your final balance, and picks are made in the order deposits were received.

Our Goal

We always want families to feel confident, informed, and excited  and we’ll help guide you toward the puppy that truly matches your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for.

Do you provide a health guarantee and warranty?

Yes! We stand behind the health of every single puppy we raise.

All of our puppies go home with a health guarantee that covers genetic conditions. Our parent dogs are fully health tested  to make sure we’re producing the healthiest, happiest puppies possible.

We take health seriously here, and we’re always transparent about our lines, our testing, and how we care for our dogs and puppies. When your puppy goes home, you’ll have everything you need to feel confident and supported.

How are the puppies socialized?

Our puppies are raised right in our home, never in a kennel. From day one, they’re around normal household life kids, noises, routines, cuddles, playtime, all of it. They grow up hearing vacuums, TVs, doors closing, and all the sounds they’ll experience in a real family home.

We also use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to support their development and confidence. These early exercises help them grow into well rounded, social, and adaptable puppies.

By the time they go home, they’ve been handled daily, played with, loved on, and exposed to lots of different experiences so the transition to their new family feels natural and easy.

Do you offer support after adoption?

Absolutely! Once your puppy goes home, you’re not on your own you have me.

You’ll have my number, and you can text or call anytime: big questions, small questions, worries, updates, or even just photos. I know bringing a new puppy home is a huge deal, and I want you to feel confident, supported, and never alone in the process.

How big will my puppy get?

The size of your puppy will depend on the breed and the size of the parent dogs. Generally this is the size of doodles we breed:

  • Bernedoodles:
    • Medium : 35-50 lbs
  • Aussiedoodles:
    • Miniature: 15-25 lbs

Please note that these are general estimates, and individual puppies may vary.

How are your parent dogs raised and where do they live?

Our parent dogs live right here with us in our home and with my aunt, who happens to be a guardian family. They’re not kennel dogs they get all the love, comfort, and freedom every dog deserves.

We truly believe that happy, well-loved dogs create the happiest puppies, so our adults are treated like the companions they are. They get to roam the house, nap on the couch, sleep in bed with us, and enjoy plenty of sunshine and playtime.

Can I visit the puppies before making a decision?

Yes! We love meeting our families but for safety reasons, visits are only available to families who are already on our waitlist and have placed a deposit. Since our puppies are raised inside our home with my family, we have to keep the environment clean, controlled, and safe for everyone.

Here’s how visits work:

Waitlist Requirement

Only families on our reservation list (with a deposit placed) can schedule a visit to meet and choose their puppy.

Scheduled Visiting Times

Visits are done in scheduled time slots so we can go down the reservation list and give each family the attention they deserve. We never let more than two families in a single day it keeps the puppies from getting overwhelmed and helps them stay relaxed and happy.

Most families usually spend about an hour to an hour and a half here. We sit together, go over everything you need to know, talk through each puppy’s personality, and see which one you naturally bond with the most. It’s a super fun, calm experience, and I want you to feel unrushed and supported the whole time.

 Outdoor & Indoor Play Areas

Depending on the puppies’ age and what you’re looking for, you can meet them in either our outdoor play area or inside our puppy nursery.

Some families like to meet all the puppies first, and others only want to spend time with the puppy (or puppies) they’re most interested in  both options are totally okay. We can meet outside, inside, or both. Whatever helps you feel comfortable and confident while choosing your puppy.

The goal is always the same: a calm, relaxed space where you can really connect with the puppies and get to know their personalities.

 Cleanliness Guidelines

To keep the puppies safe and healthy, we ask that you:

  • Wear clean clothes
  • Avoid handling other animals right before your visit
  • Remove your shoes and wear clean socks in the indoor puppy area
  • Use the hand sanitizer provided before interacting with the puppies

These simple steps help us protect the puppies’ health while still giving you an amazing, hands-on experience.

Can I FaceTime or video chat with the puppies before selecting one?

Absolutely! We love when families want to FaceTime or Zoom to meet the puppies. It’s a great way to see their personalities, ask questions, and feel confident in your decision  especially if you’re not local.

I also send regular updates, photos, and videos so you can stay connected as your puppy grows and develops before going home.

If you ever want to set up a call, just let me know a day in advance, and we can FaceTime as often as you’d like. I truly want you to feel part of the whole process and get to know your puppy from the very beginning.

Do you evaluate puppy temperaments to help match them with families?

Yes! We use proven methods to evaluate each puppy's temperament, including elements from the Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder programs. We look at traits like confidence, energy level, and sociability to help find the perfect fit for your family. This ensures that each puppy is placed in a home where they will thrive.

What do I need to bring when picking up my puppy?

When picking up your puppy, we recommend bringing:

  • A soft-sided crate or carrier for the ride home.
  • Towels or a puppy pad for the car ride, just in case of accidents.
  • Water and a small bowl for hydration during travel.
  • Excitement and patience as you welcome your new family member!

We’ll also provide a puppy package with essentials like a blanket with their mom’s scent, toys, treats, and more to help make the transition easier.

How much does a Bernedoodle, or Aussiedoodle cost?

The cost of our puppies reflects the exceptional care and dedication we put into raising them. Price is $3,300 regardless on the litter, color, and coat type. This includes advanced health testing for parent dogs, early socialization, vaccinations, deworming, and a thoughtfully prepared puppy package.

Do you have a spay and neuter contract?

Yes, we do have a spay and neuter contract for all of our puppies. Our puppies are placed in loving pet homes only, and while we may occasionally grant breeding rights to select approved breeders, this is rare and done with great care.

We follow a delayed spay or neuter policy, which means your puppy should be spayed or neutered by the time they are two years old. Allowing your puppy to fully mature before surgery can contribute to better long-term health and development.

Our spay and neuter contract is an important part of our commitment to ethical breeding practices. We want to ensure that none of our puppies are contributing to overpopulation or ending up in the hands of backyard breeders. By placing puppies in pet homes and requiring spay or neuter, we can help protect the integrity of our program and ensure that every dog has a loving and responsible home.

We ask families to send us a copy of the spay or neuter certificate from their veterinarian once the procedure is completed. This helps us stay connected with our puppy families and ensures everyone is doing their part to uphold our shared values.

If you have questions about our policy or need guidance, we’re always here to help. Together, we can make a positive impact and give every dog the life they deserve.

What if the litter of my choice doesn't have a suitable puppy for me, or momma isn't pregnant

We want every family to find their perfect match no exceptions. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, and that’s completely okay. If a momma doesn’t get pregnant or a litter doesn’t have a puppy that feels right for you, here’s how we handle it:

Priority Placement on a Future Litter

Your deposit stays secure, and you’ll get priority placement on a future litter of your choice. We’ll work together to pick a pairing and timeline that best fits what you’re looking for.

Transparent Updates

We keep you in the loop with updates on pregnancies, confirmations, upcoming pairings, and availability so you always know what’s happening.

Total Flexibility

Life happens  and we get that. If your situation changes or you simply don’t want to continue with that specific litter, your deposit is fully refundable.
We never want you to feel pressured or obligated to choose a puppy that doesn’t feel like “the one.” This is a big decision, and we want you to be excited and confident every step of the way.

When is the puppy ready to come home?

Our puppies are ready to meet their forever families at 8 weeks old. This is the ideal time for them to leave our care because they’re emotionally, physically, and developmentally prepared to transition into a new environment.

Here’s why 8 weeks is the perfect time:

Critical Socialization Period

During the first 8 weeks, puppies learn important skills from their mom and littermates  things like bite inhibition, play behavior, body language, and how to interact confidently with others. This early foundation helps them grow into well-rounded, social puppies.

Emotional Development

By 8 weeks, puppies have the emotional stability they need to handle big changes. Leaving too early can create anxiety or make bonding difficult, so we take this timeframe seriously.

 Health & Physical Readiness

At 8 weeks, puppies are fully weaned, eating solid food, and have received their first round of vaccinations and deworming. They’re healthy, confident, and ready for their new homes.

 Training Foundation

Before going home, our puppies are introduced to potty training, crate basics, noise exposure, routine handling, and beginner structure. All of this helps make the transition smoother and sets them up for success in their new homes.

Can my puppy stay longer than 8 weeks?

Yes  we totally understand that sometimes families have travel plans, work schedules, or unexpected life events that make it hard to pick up right at 8 weeks. We’re flexible and want this transition to feel easy, not stressful.

If you need your puppy to stay with us a little longer:

  • We usually don’t charge for short extensions
  • It depends on the circumstances and availability
  • We’ll always talk about it ahead of time so we’re on the same page

The only requirement is that the puppy must be paid in full by 8 weeks old, even if they’re staying with us a bit longer.

Our goal is to make sure you’re truly ready when your puppy comes home and that the timing works for both your family and the puppy.

Do your puppies come up to date on shots and microchipped?

Yes, all of our puppies come up to date on vaccinations and are microchipped before they go home. The microchipped will also have my information as the breeder and yours. Additionally, we follow a comprehensive deworming schedule to ensure your puppy’s health.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Vaccinations: Each puppy receives their first set of vaccinations at 7  weeks of age. These shots protect against common and serious diseases. The next set of vaccinations will be due around 9 to 10 weeks, which your veterinarian will administer.
  • Deworming: Puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age to eliminate and prevent parasites that are common in young puppies. It’s important to note that intestinal parasites are a normal part of puppy development, which is why we deworm multiple times to ensure your puppy is parasite-free before coming home.
  • Microchip: Each puppy is microchipped as an added layer of protection. Once you bring your puppy home, you’ll need to register the microchip with your contact information to ensure they can be safely returned to you if ever lost.

Finally, we require families to schedule a wellness check with their veterinarian within 48 hours of bringing their puppy home. This initial visit ensures your puppy is in good health and gives your vet a chance to establish a care plan moving forward.

Was is in the health guarantee?

What is included in the health guarantee?

Our health guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind regarding your puppy’s genetic health. However, it’s important to understand that the guarantee does not cover contagious illnesses or conditions that a puppy may contract after leaving our care, especially those caused by stress.

Here’s what the health guarantee includes and excludes:

What the Health Guarantee Covers:

  • Genetic Health: Our health guarantee ensures that your puppy is free from life-threatening congenital or hereditary conditions at the time of adoption.
  • Health Testing: All parent dogs undergo extensive health testing, including genetic screenings and OFA certifications, to ensure the healthiest possible puppies.

What the Health Guarantee Does Not Cover:

  • Contagious Illnesses: We cannot guarantee against illnesses that puppies may contract after leaving our care, such as:
    • Parvovirus
    • Coccidia
    • Giardia
    • Roundworms, hookworms, or tapeworms
    • Other viruses, bacteria, or parasites
  • Stress-Related Illnesses: Conditions brought on by the stress of transitioning to a new home, such as a weakened immune system, are also not covered.

Puppies are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian before they go home, and they receive their first vaccinations and deworming treatments. However, it’s essential to take your puppy to your veterinarian within 48 hours of bringing them home for a wellness check to ensure their continued health.

We do everything possible to raise healthy, happy puppies, but once a puppy leaves our care, exposure to new environments and situations is beyond our control. If you have any concerns about your puppy’s health, we are always here to provide guidance and support.

Guidance for Your Puppy’s First Few Weeks at Home

Site Content

When can I take my puppy out in public?

We recommend avoiding public spaces, such as dog parks, pet stores, or other areas where dogs congregate, until your puppy has completed their full vaccination schedule with your veterinarian. This typically happens around 16 weeks of age. Puppies are more vulnerable to illnesses like parvovirus before they’re fully vaccinated, so it’s essential to be cautious during this time.

Instead, you can begin introducing your puppy to safe, controlled environments, such as your backyard or playdates with vaccinated dogs from trusted families. This helps them socialize while keeping them safe.

What should I do during the first few days with my new puppy?

The first few days at home are a big adjustment for your puppy they’re experiencing life without their mom, siblings, and the environment they’ve known. We recommend taking it slow and letting your puppy settle in at their own pace.

Focus on creating a calm, loving environment where your puppy feels safe. Spend time bonding, offering lots of gentle affection, and letting them explore their new home. Avoid overwhelming them with too many new people or activities right away. These first few days are all about helping your puppy feel secure and building trust.

How can I help my puppy adjust to their new home?

Adjusting to a new home can be stressful for a puppy, so patience is key. Here are some tips to make the transition smoother:

  • Set up a cozy space, like a crate or playpen, where your puppy can rest and feel secure.
  • Stick to a consistent schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime.
  • Use the items from your puppy package, like the blanket with their mom’s scent or a Snuggle Puppy, to provide comfort and familiarity.
  • Keep interactions calm and positive, showing your puppy lots of love and understanding as they adapt.

Remember, this is a big change for them, and it may take a few days or weeks for your puppy to fully adjust.

What is the best way to bond with my puppy when they first come home?

Bonding with your new puppy is all about spending quality time together and being patient as they adjust. Here are some ideas:

  • Sit quietly with your puppy, offering gentle petting and letting them come to you on their terms.
  • Play with them using toys from their puppy package to build positive interactions.
  • Start basic training with treats to establish communication and trust.
  • Create a routine so your puppy knows what to expect it helps them feel secure.

How should I prepare for my puppy’s first night at home?

The first night can feel overwhelming for your puppy as it’s their first time away from their mom and siblings. We recommend creating a calm and cozy sleeping area for them. If you’re crate training, place their crate in your bedroom or nearby so they can see or hear you. Alternatively, a small circular gate around their bed can work as a safe sleeping space. Make sure to take them out for one last potty break right before bedtime to reduce the chance of accidents.

What are your tips for house-training a new puppy?

A consistent routine helps your puppy  When your puppy comes home, we recommend taking them outside every hour or two during the first week. Use consistent cue words like “outside” or “potty,” or even teach them to ring bells on the door to signal when they need to go. Shower them with praise and treats as soon as they relieve themselves in the designated area to reinforce good behavior.

What should I do if my puppy has an upset stomach or diarrhea?

When your puppy enters a new environment, excitement, stress, or changes in diet can sometimes lead to an upset stomach or diarrhea. If your puppy is otherwise in good spirits, their symptoms are mild, and they haven’t ingested anything harmful, there’s usually no need to worry.

To help soothe their stomach, simplify their diet by offering bland, easily digestible foods such as:

  • Shredded chicken
  • Soft rice
  • Pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
  • Plain yogurt

Ensure your puppy has access to plenty of fresh water to stay hydrated, and try to keep them calm and confined within your home or yard to reduce stress.

Should I change my puppy’s diet when I bring them home?

It’s best to keep your puppy on the food they’ve been eating with us initially to avoid upsetting their stomach. If you plan to switch to a different brand, introduce it gradually over 7–10 days by mixing it with their current food to allow their digestive system to adjust.
